• Osprey fishing in the Creek

  An Osprey visited the creek at 1700hrs on 29/3/26 at low water and caught a mullet. It struggled to get airborne as it was a heavy fish, then ate some on the shore by the bridge, but lost it to mobbing gulls when trying to move it.

  Creek Water Testing

  Representatives from Wootton Creek Fairway Association, Wootton Bridge Parish Council and Fishbourne Parish Council in front of Wootton Creek. Water quality in Wootton Creek is being regularly checked for bacteria commonly found in sewage. Wootton Creek Fairways Association (WCFA) hopes doing so will ensure the creek can be enjoyed by users and wildlife for years to come. Tests are carried out at two key locations near the creek mouth
