MOORINGS ON WOOTTON CREEK

With the new boating season approaching its an opportune time to look at mooring provision on the creek, noting there is no provision for anchoring or visitors moorings.
WOOTTON CREEK FAIRWAY ASSOCIATION
WCFA control all moorings on the west side of the creek leased from the Crown Estates Commissioners. This is by the issue of licences to lay a mooring to residents of a defined catchment area of Wootton, Fishbourne, Havenstreet and west Binstead. Moorings on the east side of the creek are generally in private ownership.
There may be moorings available for the new season although at times there may be a waiting list of valid residents, wishing to obtain a Mooring Licence. For enquires for a mooring or dinghy park spaces contact the WCFA secretary; honsec.wcfa@outlook.com
Pontoon walk-ashore moorings are also available at a couple of marinas on the creek, some initial details with contact information on the attached sheet.
